Control Box

This topic focuses on the Contorl Box, which is a dedicated Linux image for users to download and run scenarios on their Host OS.

Use Case:

  1. All in one Control Box
    • OVA/ISO image that is portable.
    • All updates tested before available for download.
    • Extra layer of protection to Host OS by restricting damage only the VM.
  2. Linux image
    • Built on Debian 10 (Buster).
    • Stripped of unnecessary services and Configuration.
    • Custom Built only to run simulation scenarios.
  3. Command and Control Server
    • Manages entire scenario with user inputs.
    • Customizable.
    • Loaded with different scenarios.
    • Imports and Manages VM based on dependencies.
    • Multi Server support.
  4. Install as Host OS
    • Users have the choice to install the ISO as a host OS.
    • Works similar to any other distro but dedicated only to host simulation.
    • Own Repository to update new labs, services and patch management.
    • Installed with VirtualBox compatible with generic NIC.
    • Offers safer operating environement and optimal resource utilization.
    • Customizable by the user.
